We have always learned about lions and their cubs staying in the forest or a zoo. But, what is the big cat doing on the Karachi streets? Ever thought of taking a drive with a lion? Yes, you heard it right. A drive with the King of the Jungle is definitely, a mighty affair.
LION’S HAPPY DRIVE IN KARACHI
It happened in Karachi where the big cat accompanied its owner for a drive. A video of a Karachi businessman driving around the city with a Lion went viral on social media. The big cat was seen taking a happy drive in the back of a truck. With a leash and a collar around, the ‘king’ was enjoying the drive amidst the city traffic and the noise associated with it.

However, Police arrested the owner. Senior Superintendent of Police Muqadas Haider told,
The man was driving around with his lion near a local market and it was a matter of endangering public life and property.
The businessman identified as Saqlain Javed stated has the permission to run a private zoo. He was allowed to raise lion clubs as well. But, the police confirmed that he was not allowed to transport them through the city streets.
The businessman clarified that the lion was being taken home after a visit to the vet. Saqlain has been released on bail and the lion has been transferred to his home safely.
Well, there is nothing wrong in transporting a lion but the police was concerned about the people on the streets for their fear and the chaos that might have been created at the mere sight of the lion. No matter who fears or not, we can very well be sure by looking at the video that the King of the Jungle was enjoying the breeze and the drive to his heart’s content.
