A YouTube Channel, Cut posted a video which is truly hysterical and you may find yourself trying to swear in sign language while rolling around on the floor with laughter. The truth is that we often treat people who are hard of hearing differently. But you know, they are just like you and me.
TREAT EVERYONE EQUALLY
Deaf people swear. And learning how to swear in sign language is fantastic. It is expressive, colourful, totally hilarious and it is something you probably shouldn’t do in public.
The person next to you may be hard of hearing and might not find you flipping the bird very funny.
Sign language can be pretty straightforward when you start learning it and let’s be honest, everyone should know how to swear.
And everyone should remember to treat people the same, whether they are hard of hearing or have any kind of disability. We are all the same. We all have fun, we all have hard times, we all swear.
SWEAR IN SIGN LANGUAGE
So, do you want to swear in sign language? We advise that you learn how to do ordinary sign language first and then – watch the video.
Practice at home. Roll around with laughter. Flip the bird. And then go back to just ordinary sign language.
Remember, if there is someone hard of hearing around you, they probably use sign language. So be very careful when you practice any of these, even if you are just having fun.
You do not want to offend your old deaf aunt or the hard of hearing young kid next to you.
Learn to swear in sign language and then forget everything you have learned. What we do know is that swearing is satisfying, no matter which language you swear in.
