Taylor Swift has been exceptionally busy over the last few weeks, first spending time in court against her stalker, then deleting her social media accounts, and finally releasing her new album Look What You Made Me Do which has just taken over from Despacito as number one on the charts.
TAYLOR SWIFT AS BRIDESMAID
Swift is the perfect example of a woman who can do all that and still be a fabulous friend. Abigail Anderson and Taylor are childhood friends, and Anderson asked Taylor to be her bridesmaid – Maid of Honor. Taylor said ‘of course.’
The wedding took place at the Old Whaling Church in Martha’s Vineyard this past weekend and Taylor Swift was right there by Abigail’s side.
The bride looked magnificent in an ethereal pink and white gown and Taylor who carried her train looked gorgeous in Burgundy. She didn’t try and upstage the bride but was the perfect friend, bridesmaid, and confidant, supporting her all the way.
And she didn’t sing Look What You Made Me Do, but rather gave a wonderful speech over the weekend, dedicated to her friend and new husband to be.
Everyone is still talking about Taylor’s raunchy speech and laughing with gasps as she regaled stories of the bride and her new husband. Video clips have Taylor saying,
She’s running after him, there’s falling, there’s stumbling, they, they make it to the bathrooms…
And then she talks about the sounds that she can never un-hear. It is very funny as apparently, Taylor Swift can be. Funny, Real and Down to Earth too.
TAYLOR SWIFT – A TRUE FRIEND
Look What You Made Me Do – released on the 24th August 2017, and although it had varied responses from critics, fans love it. They must love it, especially if it’s now at number one. One thing is for sure though, Taylor Swift’s raunchy speech at her friend’s wedding is receiving high praise and had all her friends and family rolling on the floor with laughter.
We think it’s fabulous that Swift remembers her roots and holds on to her childhood friendships. It’s a strong and important quality. Maybe we’ll all do the same.
